A half of a roll of film remained in my camera after our spring Ozark trip, and the following photos are the result. Below the Arkansas photos are some images of winter/spring fishing this year with some of my Eau Claire pals.

Last breakfast. |
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more,
From these our interviews, in which I steal
From all I may be, or have been before,
To mingle with the Universe, and feel
What I can ne'er express, yet cannot all conceal.

March midge hatch. |
The rest of these photos are from January and February in southeast Minnesota. Their trout season opened January 1st, and I was lucky enough to take advantage of it numerous times. It was a nice way to fill in the gap between fall steelheading and the Wisconsin early season, which opened the first Saturday in March.
